Theresa May to be appointed UK prime minister

Conservative party leader Theresa May is to be named the UK prime minister on Wednesday.

David Cameron will do his final PMQs at noon before formally tendering his resignation at Buckingham Palace.
Theresa May will then seek permission from Queen Elizabeth to form a government.
She will become the second female prime minister ever, after Margaret Thatcher.
She is expected to make appointing a Brexit cabinet minister one of her key priorities.
