Barcelona trying hard to offload big-money flop Arda Turan

Fc Barcelona have been trying to find a buyer for Arda Turan for the last couple                   months, but so far their search has proven as useless as Turan's Barcelona career.                   It's Chelsea's turn to be solicited, as reports from both Spain and Italyare linking the club with the player in whom we were reportedly interested last summer.  But a lot can change in 12 months.
Last summer, after four years at Atlético, Turan looked to be taking the next major step in his career.  Despite plenty of interest far and wide, he chose to join Barcelona — a move that sounded great at first, but was less smart on inspection as Barcelona's transfer ban meant that he wasn't allowed to feature in the team until January.  After six months off, Turan's irregular performances in the second half of last season have resulted in very little other than boos from both Barca and Turkey national team fans.  He's been on the chopping block ever since.
The now 29-year-old joined Barcelona for an initial fee of €34 million with €7 million in add-ons, claiming at his announcement that the move was the "culmination" of his career.  Now, Turan could be available for two-thirds of that fee and that's probably still way overpriced.  We'd be best advised to steer clear, just as all other teams linked so far (Arsenal, Juventus, etc.) have done.
