Jose Mourinho puts 4 big-name Man United players up for sale, will keep Fellaini

Duncan Castles dishes the dirt on
Mourinho’s plans
Journalist Duncan Castles has written another article in Scotland’s
Daily Record, detailing the plans Jose Mourinho is looking to
implement at Manchester United.
Castles has strong links with the Jose Mourinho camp, and has
long been seen as the mouthpiece of The Special One on social
media.
This began when Mourinho was sacked as Chelsea manager and
continued with Castles arguing for many months that the
Portuguese coach would be Manchester United’s new manager.

Mourinho has his front 4 decided
Castles reveals that Mourinho sees Zlatan playing up front, with
Wayne Rooney behind in the number 10 role and Henrikh
Mkhitaryan and Anthony Martial on the flanks.
Whilst Marcus Rashford is seen as an attacker to push Mourinho’s
preferred front four.
Like much of the mainstream media, Castles also seems to think
Paul Pogba’s move from Juventus to Manchester United will
happen.
Mourinho wants 4 big-name players to
be sold
Arguably the most important revelation in Castles’ article are the
four players Jose Mourinho wants to sell.
Castles writes: “At present his squad is badly over-manned. Daley
Blind, Juan Mata, Bastian Schweinsteiger and Marcos Rojo have
all been made available for sale, with Mourinho anxious that the
club accelerates its efforts to find takers for the unwanted
foursome.”
Whilst Schweinsteiger and Rojo failed to truly establish themselves
at Manchester United under Louis van Gaal and Juan Mata is a
very popular member of the squad, Daley Blind’s likely departure is
a surprise considering how well he has played since leaving Ajax.
“Mourinho intends to retain Marouane
Fellaini”
Manchester United fans may also be disappointed to learn that
Mourinho feels Marouane Fellaini is a key part of the future at Old
Trafford.
Castles: “Mourinho intends to retain Marouane Fellaini, who can
operate in multiple positions, offering height, physicality and
experience.”
One other interesting tidbit from Castles is that Michael Carrick had
“been worn down by Van Gaal’s management.”
